The study of microorganisms, whether in a medical, molecular or other specialty or context requires highly controlled environments. To meet these requirements, most microbiology cleanrooms adhere to an ISO Class 7 to ISO Class 5 standard, along with a minimum of ISO Class 5 biological safety hood as the primary engineering control.
Angstrom Technology designs and builds both HardWall modular cleanrooms, which offer the greatest level of environmental control and RigidWall cleanrooms, which can comply with strict classifications but also offer flexibility. Both our HardWall and RigidWall cleanrooms are modularly constructed and can be free-standing or incorporate elements of your existing structure, such as walls, windows, or even existing HVAC.
To meet the needs of microbiology cleanrooms, we offer additional installations and customization options, including:
- Hazardous material storage
- Laminar air flow systems
- Multi-stage HEPA and ULPA filtration systems
- Standard, flow-through, LED strips, and other lighting options
